Pres. Weah to Sign Book of Condolence…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah is expected to lead an array of Government officials to sign the Book of Condolence today, Friday, for fallen Liberian diplomat, Richelieu Williams.

An Executive Mansion release said the ceremony will take place at the Foyer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, beginning at 11:00 in the morning.

Ambassador Williams died on January 13, 2023, while serving as Liberia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Morocco.

Meanwhile, President Weah has declared four-day National Mourning for the fallen diplomat, beginning February 3.

The National Ensign will be flown half-mast over all public buildings during the period of national mourning.
