NIMBA COUNTY, LIBERIA-A forty-one-year-old man in Nimba County has reportedly spilled acid on his wife’s private part, after accusing her of having extra affairs with another man.

ELBC Upper Nimba County Correspondent said Cooper Siaway committed the act during an argument between him and his wife, Yei Wayean, on Friday, January 27, 2023, in Behplay.

Our Correspondent said this brings to two the number of cases involving the accused as eyewitnesses’ accounts show the perpetrator often inflicts major injuries on his wife.

The victim is currently seeking treatment at the Karnplay Health Center, while Cooper Siaway is in police custody pending trial.

Meanwhile, Mr. Siaway has admitted to committing the act, during police investigation.
