Pres. Weah says Security and Diplomatic Efforts are being Made to Bring to Book Those Connected to Recent Arms Discovered…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has spoken of ongoing security and diplomatic efforts aimed to bringing to book those connected to the recent cache of arms discovered by the Liberia National Police.

President Weah said:” The discovery of such quantity of arms and ammunitions is alarming, and as such, my administration is using the diplomatic path with partners to bring the perpetrators to book.”

The Liberian Leader was speaking on Monday, January 30, 2023, when he addressed the sixth session of the 54th National Legislature on the State of the Nation.

President Weah said:” My administration will not waiver to use full force under the law to repel and eliminate any threat to the peace and security of the State.”

The Liberian Chief Executive lauded the Liberia National Police’s intelligence capability through which such discovery was made.
