MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah will, on Monday, deliver his Sixth Annual Message to the National Legislature.

Monday’s State of the Nation Address will be President Weah’s last message for the first term as President of Liberia.

The Liberian Leader is expected to highlight achievements of his Government and also reveal his Legislative agenda for the current year.

In previous addresses, President Weah singled out road construction, infrastructure development, education and economic revitalization as key priority areas.

Meanwhile, the National Legislature says it is well prepared to receive the President on Monday.

The Chairman of Rules, Order and Administration of the House of Representatives, Johnson Gwaikolo, told ELBC that the necessary things have been put in place for the President’s State of the Nation Address.

Before the President’s State of the Nation Address, Members of the Fourth National Legislature will convene in in a Sixth Joint Session with the sole purpose of receiving the President.

Liberians at home and abroad, as well as foreign residents and international partners, will focus on Capitol Hill on Monday evening, January 30, 2023, to listen to what the President has to say.
