RIVERGEE COUNTY, LIBERIA-Police in Rivergee County are investigating a twenty-six-year-old woman identified as Cecelia Freeman, for allegedly burning her daughter’s hand for stealing over her little sister’s food.

Suspect Cecelia Freeman said after receiving complaint that her daughter committed the act, she burned her hand to discourage any repetition of the act.

According to ELBC Correspondent, Cecelia said that she is a single mother of five who has been abandoned by the father of the children, and is doing all she can to give them better training.

Our Correspondent said the victim’s mother regretted the situation, adding that she burned her child’s hand out of frustration.
