“The National Commission on Disabilities has made significant progress…”-Madam Paybayee

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Executive Director of the National Commission on Disabilities (NCD) says the Commission has made significant progress in the education of people living with disabilities.

Madam Daintowon Paybayee said:” The NCD is currently providing educational support to people living with Disabilities at the University of Liberia, the AMEU, as well as vocational and technical institutions.”

Madam Paybayee told ELBC on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, that the Commission is also supporting people living with disabilities venturing in agriculture and business development.

She said the NCD is also working with legally registered disabled organizations nationwide, but cited inadequate data of people with disabilities as critical challenge.

The NCD Boss, however, boasted that because of her hard work the entity continues to receive the needed support from Government and other partners.
