MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Health has reported major transformation in the health sector of Liberia, during the last five years.

Health Minister Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah said:” The Liberian Government has succeeded in building and equipping new health facilities since the administration of President George Weah.”

Dr. Jallah named the setting up of functional units, staff capacity building and the procurement of new ambulances as some of the key achievements in the sector.

Minister Jallah also expressed optimism that the Country’s Health Sector is well on course, and credited President Weah for taking keen interest in the health sector.

Dr. Jallah announced the Ministry’s progress on Monday, January 16, 2023, when she served as guest on ELBC Super Morning Show.
