MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC) is reporting significant progress on water lines connecting Central Monrovia.

LWSC Managing Director, Duannah Kamara, said:” The ongoing repair works could last for about a month.”

Addressing MICAT regular Press Briefing on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, Mr. Duannah said the line from up Ducor has already started pumping water, while technical work is continuing.

The LWSC Managing Director again urged residents of Central Monrovia to avoid drinking water being pumped out of the lines.

According to him, the water is highly chlorinated and only intended to clean the lines and not for drinking or cooking.
