MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC) is conducting technical repair works to begin the supply of water in Central Monrovia, for the first time since 2011.

LWSC Managing Director, Duannah Kamara, disclosed that the technical repair works are being done along with cleaning of the sewage system.

He told reporters on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at the New Port Street sub-station that the repair works are expected to be completed in few days.

The LWSC Managing Director also warned residents against drinking water being used to disinfect the pipeline.

Mr. Duannah Kamara said:” The water being pumped out of pipe lines are highly chlorinated for drinking.”
