MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The founder and Standard Bearer of the People’s Liberation Party (PLP), Daniel Cassell, is dead.

According to a PLP release issued recently, Dr. Cassell died early Monday morning, December 26, 2022, in the State of Pennsylvania, the United States of America.

The PLP says circumstances leading to the death of its Standard Bearer are yet unknown.

Dr. Cassell entered into Liberian politics in 2019 when he and others formed the PLP.

Meanwhile, the leadership of the Party says it is saddened over the death of its founder and Standard Bearer and expressed deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
