MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia Marketing Association (LMA) has welcomed the Liberian Government’s recent adjustment on the price of rice in the Country.

The President of the LMA, Elizabeth Sambolah, said:” Such adjustment is laudable as the current increase is reflective of current global trend.”

Meanwhile, the LMA President wants the market space opened to ensure sufficient supply of the nation’s staple food.

The LMA Boss is calling on the Government to support and empower farmers into merchandized farming.

Madam Sambolah said that doing so will go a long way in ensuring constant and sufficient supply of rice on the market.
