MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Team Julius Kanubah, in support of Julius Kanubah for the Press Union of Liberia’s (PUL) Presidency, has threatened to resist any form of electoral malpractice likely to erode the credibility of the pending elections.

The Membership Committee of the PUL had earlier come under serious public scrutiny for reportedly enlisting non-journalists as part of the voter roll.

According to the Head of Team Julius Kanubah, Raymond Zabay, they have since urged the Committee to clean up and de-select non-journalists from the PUL voter roll, to ensure transparent elections but to no avail.

On ELBC Super Morning Show Monday, November 14, 2022, PUL Election Chairperson, Ade Wede Kerkula, confirmed that such ratifications have been made on the voter roll ahead of the elections.

However, Team Kunubah told ELBC Tuesday, November 15, 2022, that no efforts have been made to guarantee free, fair and transparent elections.
