Mr. McGill petitioned to contest for Senatorial Seat…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The former Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel McGill, has accepted a petition from some citizens of Margibi County to contest as Senator of the County, in the 2023 General and Presidential Elections.

The petitioning ceremony was held over the weekend in Unification City, in Lower Margibi County.

Reading the endorsement statement, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mark Nuah, said:” Mr. McGill is capable of uniting the county and fostering development.

He said Mr. McGill has over the years, rendered immense support to students, young people, market women and traditional leaders in the county. Responding, the former Minister of State accepted to contest the Senatorial seat and promised to reconcile Margibi County.

Mr. McGill said:” I have come to Margibi County to work with current officials in order to drive the necessary developments in the County.”

Meanwhile, Mr. McGill has urged his supporters to remain peaceful at all times, and vote for the reelection of President George Weah.
