MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has conveyed a message of congratulations to the Government and people of Austria, on the occasion marking their National Day.

In his message to Austrian President Alexander Vor Der Bellen, President Weah extended sincere best wishes on behalf of the Liberian Government and people.

The Liberian Leader expressed hope that both countries use the celebration to foster closer collaboration, aimed at strengthening the rule-based international order that will ensure global peace and security.

President Weah then recalled Austria’s monumental role in promoting international peace, the rule of law and human rights.

He said:” My Government looks forward to the two countries’ longstanding bilateral cooperation, growing from strength to strength for the mutual benefit of their people.”
