MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah on Wednesday held dinner with US President Joe Biden, on the margin of the United Nations General Assembly.

Speaking Thursday, September 22, 2022, from New York, Presidential Press Secretary, Solo Kelgbeh, said:” though the dinner was held behind closed door, President Weah was able to push the Country’s development agenda to the US Government and other international partners.”

Mr. Kelgbeh noted that the Liberian Leader’s meeting with the US President and other partners demonstrates that the Country has taken its rightful place among the comity of nations. He said:” President Weah’s presence at the UN General Assembly will bring the needed benefits to the Country and its people.”

Mr. Kelgbeh clarified that no member of the President’s delegation was given restricted visa, as being wrongly spread in some quarters.
