Armed Forces vows to remain non-political…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) has vowed to remain non-political, during and after the 2023 general and Presidential Elections.

AFL Chief of Staff, Major General Prince C. Johnson III, added that the Army will also continue to uphold the tenets of democracy.

Maj. Gen. Johnson reaffirmed the AFL’s commitment to sustaining the peace and stability of Liberia and other countries, where it has military operations.

He then lauded the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, in partnership with Kofi Annan Institute of Peace and Conflict Transformation, for dedicating its 2022 peace award to the Armed Forces of Liberia.

The award is part of events outlined in commemoration of International Day of Peace.

He spoke with ELBC Wednesday, September 21,2022.
