Court issues Writ of Subpoena for JFK Hospital…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Criminal Court ‘A’ has issued a Writ of Subpoena for the Management of John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital.

Judge Roosevelt Willie’s writ comes a day after the Hospital Management submitted the medical report of the Country Director of Prison Fellowship, Rev. Francis Kollie and Madam Christiana Gahndolo.

The writ is also demanding the Hospital Management to surrender Dr. Ina Wachekwa to the Court this Wednesday, September 21, 2022, to provide more clarity on his report on the alleged poor health condition of Rev. Francis Kollie and Madam Christiana Gahndolo.

According to ELBC Judicial Reporter, Dr. Wachekwa’s testimony will determine whether Rev. Kollie and Madam Gahndolo will seek overseas treatment or remain at the Monrovia Central Prison and be treated.

On September 4, 2022, Criminal Court ‘A’ instructed JFK Medical Hospital to verify the truthfulness of Rev. Francis Kollie and Madam Gahndolo’s illness, after it was reported that the prison fellowship Director fell off in prison.

They are detained for contempt due to their failure to surrender suspect Cephus Selebey to the Court for prosecution, after serving as surety for the suspect.
