MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Former Finance Minister David Farhat says there is deep division in the country that could only get worse during next year’s election.

Mr. Farhat claimed that hatred has taken over the country, with some citizens and politicians showing no respect for the political leadership of the country, including the presidency.

He wants politicians join ranks with government in addressing challenges the people are faced with, instead of tearing each other apart.

Mr. Farhat also criticized some Talk-Show hosts for misusing the platform for political gains.

The former Finance Minister spoke to journalists over the weekend in Monrovia.
