Pathologists arrived in Maryland County to conduct autopsies…

MRYLAND COUNTY, LIBERIA-A leading Liberian Pathologist has promised to conduct transparent autopsies on the bodies of two students who recently died mysteriously in Maryland County.

A team of Pathologists headed by Dr. Benedict Kolee finally arrived in Maryland County on Monday, August 1, 2022, to investigate the causes of death of two students, Anthony Tiaka and Levi Koffa.

The death of Tiaka and Koffa sparked waves of protests recently from women and youth groups, demanding Government to bring in pathologists to establish the actual cause of death.

Speaking to ELBC upon arrival in Harper, lead investigator Kolee said:” My team will investigate all scientific means possible to bring closure to the bereaved families and those concerned.”

According to him, the team will invite major stakeholders and sectorial representatives, to form part of the investigation process.
