MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Civil Law Court “B” is expected to entertain legal argument today Friday, July 28, 2022, into Defendant Habakkuk Sackor’s application for new legislation.

This followed Defendant Sackor’s conviction for damaging the National Investment Commission Project Director, Andrew Anderson’s marriage with his wife Laraina Rose-Anderson.

Friday’s proceeding was announced through a notice of assignment from Judge Yamie Gbeisay to lawyers of both parties as provided by law.

The objective of Defendant Sackor’s motion for new trial is to overturn the trial jurors’ July 11 Conviction verdict against him.

The trial jurors convicted him and awarded Anderson with one-hundred-fifty-thousand United States Dollars, in connection to his action of damage for injury to domestic relations against Defendant Habakkuk Sackor.
