Monrovia, June 20, 2022 – Police in Grand Gedeh County have dismissed report of ongoing investigation into alleged manufacturing of shot guns in the County.

The police clarification comes in the wake of statement attributed to Grand Gedeh County Attorney, Wilkins Nah, that people were being investigated manufacturing single barrel short guns to defend themselves.

Our Grand Gedeh County correspondent quotes local Police Authorities in the County as saying there is no ongoing investigation by the Police into arms manufacturing for self-defense in the County.

Grand Gedeh County Police commander, Moses Gbayon, told ELBC that with the exception of two persons recently invited and later returned home, no one has been arrested in connection with alleged manufacturing of guns as being speculated.
