Pres. Weah makes additional nominations in Gov’t

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has made nominations in Government affecting the Judiciary, General Audit Commission (GAC) and Internal Audit Agency (IAA).

President Weah named Cllr. Necular Y. Edwards as Fudge of the Monthly and Probate Court in Montserrado County, and Cllr. U-Jay Bright as Judge of the Tax Court of Montserrado County.

According to an Executive Mansion release issued on May 16, 2022, Cllrs. Edwards and Bright   replaced Vinton Holder who is deceased and the honor Mozart Chesson, who is retired respectively.

President Weah also named Mr. David Kemah as Director General of the IAA, while at the GAC Mr. Foday G. Kiazolu, Deputy Auditor General for Administration, Winsley S. Nanka, Deputy Auditor General for Audit Services, and G. Cecil Dole, Deputy Auditor General for Special Audit.

Meanwhile, the nominations are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate.
