Pres. Weah attends World Expo closing ceremonies in Dubai

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah is currently in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, to participate in the closing ceremonies of World Expo, Dubai 2020.

President Weah left Liberia on Tuesday evening, March 22, 2020, via the Roberts International Airport, in Lower Margibi County.

A strong Liberian Delegation participated in the opening ceremonies of the events in November, last year, with a massive display of the untold beauty of Liberia.

The team also showcased the enormous untapped potentials in agriculture, tourism, and infrastructure development of the Country.

Members of President Weah’s Delegation include the Minister of Information, Managing Director of the National Port Authority (NPA) and the Executive Director of LACE, among others.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Samuel Tweah, is acting as Chair of the Cabinet, in consultation with the Vice President and via phone with the President.
