Implement ECOWAS Vision 2050-Pres. Weah

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah is calling for the implementation of the Economic Community of West African States vision 2050 to eradicate poverty and illnesses in the region.

President Weah said:” The attainment of such will depend on the collective efforts of the parliament and commission, among others.”

The Liberian Leader’s comment was contained in a statement read on his behalf by Commerce Minister Mawine Diggs, at the 5th ECO WAS Parliamentary Seminar in Monrovia on Thursday, March 3, 2022.

The session is being held under the theme: ECOWAS Vision 2050: Formulation Process and Challenges to implementation.

Meanwhile, the Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, Dr. Sidie Mohamed Tunis, wants the full participation of all parliamentarians during the event.
