MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A Liberian businessman has dragged his wife to court for getting pregnant for another man believed to be a pastor.

Earlier, Abraham Gubley’s wife, Olive Gubley, took him to court for persistent non-support, but he later heard that his wife was actually impregnated by another man.

Mr. Gubley told the court on Monday, February 28, 2022, that his decision against his wife is not about litigation, but to seek clarification from the court about monthly support for a woman carrying another man’s child.

ELBC Judicial Correspondent said Gubley’s account was buttressed by his wife’s statement, prompting Magistrate Quincy Garnett to revoke his payment order from the court’s file, consistent with law.

In a related development, Mr. Abraham Gubley has threatened to take legal action in the coming days, against the man who has impregnated his wife.
