Health Minister Jallah calls for community ownership of health facilities across Liberia

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Health Minister Wilhelmina Jallah is calling for community ownership and support of health facilities across the Country.

Dr. Jallah said:” Such will buttress Government’s funding for the collective functioning of the different facilities.”

She made the different assertions when the Jackson Doe Referral Hospital in Tappita, Nimba County, inducted its first Advisory Board.

At least, fifteen individuals and institutions constitute the Advisory Board of the Hospital.

ELBC Reporter said the constitution of the Hospital’s Advisory Board followed intense lobbying by Nimba County District Six Representative Dorwon Gleekia.
