European Union gives Liberia 191 Million Euros…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah’s participation at the just ended EU-AU Summit in Brussels, Belgium, has brought financial benefit to Liberia.

The EU has given Liberia an envelope of one-hundred-ninety-one-million Euros, as part of the Summit.

President Weah made the disclosure on Friday, February 18, 2022, after meeting with EU Commissioner Jutta Urpilanen.

President Weah said:” The money will benefit several development areas for the next four years.”

The Liberian Leader named forestry, food systems, election process and vocational education as areas to benefit from the EU financial assistance.

Meanwhile, President the Liberian Government to fulfill its commitment of eighty-million George Weah has announced that the EU will soon begin engaging.
