MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has submitted a loan agreement between Liberia and the African Development Fund (ADF) to the House Representatives for ratification.

In a communication to Plenary on Thursday, February 10, 2022, President Weah said:” The loan will finance the Special Agro Industrial Processing Zone Project.”

According to him, the ADF will extend to Liberia a loan of an amount not exceeding seven-million-right-hundred-forty-thousand United States Dollars.

The Liberian Leader added that the project, among other things, will further create a better business environment for increased investments in the industrial sector.

Meanwhile, the instrument has been forwarded to the Committee on Ways, Means and Judiciary.
