MONROVIA, LIBRIA-A twenty-one year old woman, identified as Harriet Castro, has been sent to jail for allegedly selling her six–month old baby.

She was arrested, based on a complaint filed by her Fulani baby father, Mohammed Bah.

Defendant Harriet, according to police record, sold her baby to an unknown woman for sixty United States Dollars, at the Miami Beach, in Mamba Point, on November 29, 2021.

The Defendant told police investigators that the unknown buyer had promised to come back but has not, since the transaction.

Her codefendant, Jerome Browne, admitted that Harriet sold the child for the specified amount to solve some personal problems.

Meanwhile, Defendant Harriet has been charged for trafficking in persons, while Co-defendant Jerome has been charged for criminal facilitation.
