MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has extended olive branch to those who fled the Country, perceiving that the Liberian Government was against them.

President Weah also said:” I have forgiven those who insulted me and left the Country for fear of arrest and prosecution.”

The Liberian Leader was speaking Sunday, December 12, 2021, at the end of a five-day Spiritual Cleansing, Peace and Reconciliation Summit, organized by the Forky Klon Family Fellowship Church.

He called for genuine reconciliation, holistic commitment to sustain peaceful coexistence for the New Year.

He said:” Without peace and unity, achieving the overall development of the Country will be an illusion.”

President George Weah thanked the organizers and international pastors who honored the invitation to attend the summit, praying for peace and development of Liberia.
