MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has congratulated Gambian President, Adama Barrow, on his overwhelming re-election victory.

In his congratulatory message, the Liberian Leader said:” The victory of President Barrow signifies the trust the people of Gambia have in his ability to lead.”

President Weah then expressed his ardent hope that citizens of Liberia and Gambia will continue to nurture new frontiers in the already existing   bilateral ties.

According to a Foreign Ministry release issued on Thursday, December 9, 2021, President Weah also wants both countries work together in keeping with the principles of the African Union (AU), ECOWAS and the United Nations (UN).

President Weah prayed that the Almighty Allah will continue to shower his blessings on President Barrow, the Government and people of Gambia.
