Liberian Teacher selected to rewrite Math Curriculum for Secondary School Students in the USA

MONROVIA, LIBERIA–A Liberian teacher in the United States has been selected to rewrite the math curriculum for secondary students in the State of Minnesota.

Mr. Sizi Gayduobah Goyah was selected by the State of Minnesota Education Department as one of the Teachers to rewrite the Math curriculum for the students.

Mr. Goyah currently serves as a tenured Teacher and Chairman of the Mathematics Department at Brooklyn Center Secondary and STEAM School.

He hails from Zolowo, Zorzor District-Lofa County. Mr. Goyah began his teaching career at the Matadi Baptist School and the Bishop Marwieh Institute in Sinkor, before migrating to the United States.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from the Texas Tech University and a Master Degree in Mathematics and Education.
