MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia is expected to participate in this year’s Conference of Parties on climate change, otherwise known as COP26 in Glasgow, Scotland, the United Kingdom.

The conference will bring together parties to the Paris Agreement.

The Executive Director of the Environment Protection Agency (EPA), Wilson Tarpeh, said:” Liberia will present its Nationality Determine Contribution (NDC) at the COP-26, which contains Liberia’s position on what can be done to minimize the emission of greenhouse gas.”

It also highlights Liberia’s efforts on the preservation and protection of the environment.

Prof. Tarpeh said an estimated four-hundred-ninety United States Dollars was attached to the NDC instrument for implementation.
