Judge Jomah Jallah summoned over refusal to sign criminal appearance bond

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Criminal Court A, has summoned Judge Jomah Jallah of the Monrovia City Court for his alleged refusal to sign a criminal appearance bond.

Judge Roosevelt Willie’s action was a result of a petition of summary proceedings filed by a team of lawyers representing Jethro Harris of the Alternative National Congress.

Judge Jallah is expected to appear before Judge Willie to show cause why he refused to sign the criminal appearance bond of suspect Harris.

On Monday, suspect Jethro Harris was forwarded to court by the police for what the Police called spreading false alarm on social media. He was jailed at the Monrovia Central Prison Monday pending court trial.
