MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Government of Liberia has deported ten Nigerians, after spending ten years in prison for burglary, theft and armed robbery.

The four Nigerian deportees are Onugu Frank Oshidu, Francis Ajisu, Chukwu Ogun and Kinsley Okoro.

They were arrested, charged and found guilty for their involvement in the 2010 Ecobank burglary in Kakata, Margibi County.

The Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) Communications Director, Abraham Dorley, told ELBC recently that the deportees left the Roberts International Airport Monday, September 27, 2021, on a commercial flight.

Mr. Dorley said:” The Justice Ministry gave the go-ahead to the LIS to arrange the deportation exercise.”

Director Dorley said the LIS has already communicated with their Nigerian counterparts in Nigeria about the deportation.
