Nigerian National faces court trial for being in possession of narcotic substances

RIVERGEE COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Joeweeken Magisterial Court in Rivergee County is trying a Nigerian Man for being in possession of narcotic substances.

Forty five year old Francis Obinna was earlier arrested by officers of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency with illicit drugs worth over one-hundred-thousand Liberian dollars.

ELBC Rivergee County Correspondent said the suspect was arrested in Gbeapoe Tartuken.

The Commander of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) Detachment, Joseph Gogar, said:” The suspect was arrested at the Check point in Tartuken following a tipoff.”

Following Police investigation, the suspect was then turned over to the Joeweeken Magisterial Court for trial.
