National Elections Commission begins Representatives candidates’ nomination for By-Election

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The National Elections Commission (NEC) has begun the candidate nomination exercise for the pending four representatives by – elections.

The exercise which takes place at the NEC Headquarters in Sinkor will continue until Friday, September 24, 2021.

According to a release, the candidate nomination exercise is for the by-elections in Bomi, Grand Gedeh, Nimba and Bong Counties.

The vacancies for the four by-elections were created following the election of Representatives, Edwin Snowe, Prince Moye, Jeremiah Koung and Zoe Pennue to the Liberian Senate in December 2020.
