Pres. Weah names US Ambassador member of Bicentennial Steering Committee

MONROV IA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has named the United States Ambassador to Liberia as a member of the Bicentennial Steering Committee.

President Weah said: “The inclusion of the   United States Ambassador is important, owing to the historic and direct role America played in the establishment of Liberia nearly 200 years ago.”

The Liberian Chief Executive named the US Ambassador to the Steering Committee on Thursday, September 9, 2021.

According to the Executive Mansion, the US Ambassador will work with the Liberian Government in planning, organizing and executing of a successful bicentennial celebration.
