Pres. Weah donates generators to two churches

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has donated two 100 KVA Generators to the Providence Baptist and First Assembly of God Churches in Monrovia.

The machines were presented to the two churches on behalf of the President by Mr. Toe Wesseh, Coordinator for Special Services at the Executive Mansion on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

According to Mr. Wesseh, President Weah had promised to   get a new generator for the Providence Baptist Church, after an unexpected breakdown of the previous one during a visit at the church recently.

For the First AG Church on Buchanan Street, President Weah made a promise to get the church a generator, during the funeral service of the late Representative Jay Nagbe Sloh.

Meanwhile, the churches have commended the Liberian Leader for the gesture and assured that the machines will be used for the comfort of their congregations.
