Mayor Council of Liberia advances fire disasters recommendations to gov’t

MONROVIA, LIBERIA -The Mayor Council of Liberia has advanced several recommendations to the Liberian government.

The recommendations among other things include the provision of fire truck in every city and the enforcement of public safety laws by the requisite authorities.

According to our Upper Margibi County Correspondent, the recommendations are aimed at preventing the wave of fire disasters in the country.

The Spokesperson of the Mayor Council, Emmanuel Gbor pledged the Council’s commitment to creating more awareness on disaster management and safety in their various cities.

Speaking at a meeting in Margibi County, Mr. Gbor said the Mayor Council is concerned about the safety and protection of all Liberians and foreign residents in the Country.
