MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The arrival of the long awaited second batch of the AstraZeneca vaccine is due this Friday, August 13, 2021.
Deputy Information Minister for Public Affairs, Jarlawah Tonpo, said the second batch contains ninety-six-thousand doses.
Minister Tonpo maintains that the job is the French Government’s donation to Liberia, through the Convax facility.
He noted that the vaccine was made possible through the instrumentality of President George Weah.
The arrival of the vaccine means that those who took the first AstraZeneca Vaccine dose will now have the opportunity to be fully vaccinated.
