Gov.’s Delegation visits family of fallen truck driver in Clara Town

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-A team of Government officials headed by Internal Affairs Minister, Varney Sirleaf, has visited the home of the fallen truck driver in Clara Town, Bushrod Island.

Speaking to ELBC on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, Assistant Information Minister for Administration, Jurah Sannor, said:” The visit was intended to sympathize with the bereaved family.”

Minister Sannor said Government regrets the death of one of its citizens.

Meanwhile, the Assistant Information Minister disclosed that team also informed the bereaved family that an investigation is ongoing and anyone found guilty will be prosecuted.

At the same time, a member of the bereaved family, Alhaji Abraham Keita, praised the delegation for the visit, and called on them to ensure that the perpetrator is brought to justice.
