MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Patriotic Party (NPP) has called for the resignation of Montserrado County Senator Abraham Darius Dillon.

NPP Secretary General, Andrew Peters, said:” Senator Dillon is no longer worthy of the post, after admitting that he lied about his recent travels to the United States of America.”

The Montserrado County Senator had earlier denied that he traveled on a Business Class ticket to the US, but somersaulted after media report made it clear that he lied.

According to the NPP Secretary General, Senator Dillon will continue to lose the confidence of the people due to his inconsistency.
