US Center for Disease Control and Prevention imposes Travel Health Notice…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention has imposed a level-4 Travel Health Notice on Liberia, due to surge in COVID-19 cases.

According to the US-CDC, this means a very high level of COVID-19 is in the Country.

A statement released Tuesday, June 29, 2021, quotes the organization as warning US citizens wanting to travel to Liberia about the risk of contracting COVID-19 and developing severe symptoms.

However, the organization said that those fully vaccinated with vaccines authorized by the US Food and Drug Administration may only experience lower symptoms.

According to a case update for the last twenty-four hours released by the National Public Health Institute of Liberia, the Country has recorded fifty-eight new confirmed cases, three new deaths and zero recovery.
