Prez. Weah breaks ground for bridge construction in Sinoe County

SINOE COUNTY, LIBERIA- President George Weah has broken grounds for the construction of a bridge to connect several towns and villages in Tartweh – Drapoh District, Sinoe County.

The project is being done by Sinoe Forest International Liberia Incorporated, a Chinese construction company in the County.

The Managing Director of the Company, Annie Wang, said the project has already commenced.

Madam Wang disclosed that the estimated cost of the project is over eight hundred thousand United States dollars and it is expected to be completed within a year.

According to her, the bridge, when completed, will be named the George Weah Peace Bridge.

She told reporters that the bridge construction is essential to connecting, for the first time, towns and villages that have been cut off from the rest of Sinoe County.
