Take the lead to restore peace in land disputes…-Prez Weah

GREENVILLE, SINOE – Appointed officials of Government have been mandated by President George Weah take the lead in restoring land disputes coming from their home counties.

President Weah warned Officials of Government failing to help mitigate land conflict in their home towns and villages that they will be held libel for any chaotic situation.

The warning from the Liberian Leader followed another complaint of a land dispute between the people of Sinoe and Rivercess Counties.

President Weah described the situation as a grave concern that can only be resolved with the total involvement of all citizens.

In another development, President Weah has assured the administration and students of the Sinoe Community College that the college will be upgraded.

President Weah, speaking to citizens at a town hall meeting in Greenville, Friday, May 7, 2021, said the college’s upgrade project will be captured under the Ministry of Education College Renovation Program.
