Pres. Weah pays tribute to journalists covering Nationwide Tour

BOMI COUNTY, LIBERIA-President George Weah has paid special homage to Journalists covering the President’s Nationwide Tour.

President Weah described reporters as the real heroes, who are sacrificing to tell the true story of the Country.

The President was speaking Sunday, March 28, 2021, during the climax of the second leg of the County tour at a Two Hall Meeting in Gbah, Bomi County.

The Liberian Leader told reporters that the difficulties they face in finding lodging, while on the tour are enough reasons to highlight the significance of improving infrastructure in rural Liberia.

President Weah urged members of the media to always seek truth telling and be patriotic to Country, despite the challenges.

The second leg of the County tour, which lasted for one week, took President Weah to Bomi, Gbarpolu and Grand Cape Mount Counties.

Meanwhile, Grand Bassa, Margibi, Rivercess, Sinoe and Lofa Counties are the remaining Counties to be visited by the President.
