Member of the Liberian Senate calls for establishment of special court for elections related issues

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – A member of the Liberian Senate has emphasized the need for the establishment of a special court to handle election related issues in the country.

Bomi County Senator Edwin Snowe said the establishment of the special court will ensure the fast tracking of electoral disputes and avoid delay in handling cases.

Senator Snowe is at the same time calling for a reform of the Elections Law.

The Bomi County Senator spoke at the Capitol Thursday in an interview with Legislative reporters.
