Pastor Kortu Browne wants the Armed Force of Liberia remains focus to discharging its duties

MONROVIA, LIBERIA- The Pastor of the New Water in the Desert Assembly   Church, Dr. Kortu Browne, wants personnel of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) remain focused in the discharge of its duties.

Pastor Browne urged the AFL not to be distracted but continues to prevail, despite prevailing circumstances.

He spoke Sunday, February 7, 2021, when he delivered the 64th Armed Forces Day Thanksgiving service message; Rev. Browne said:  “Liberia needs a mighty and powerful army that seeks the face of God in time of difficulties”.

According to him the Liberian military out to identify its enemies such as poverty, ignorance and diseases, which he said are undermining the growth of the Liberian society.

The New Water in the Desert Assembly Pastor, however, warned the AFL not to get involved in politics but should focus on its mandate by protecting the people of Liberia at all times.

In remarks, Defense Minister, Daniel Zhankahn, called on the church to continue praying for the AFL, especially the men on peace-keeping mission in parts of Africa.
