Pres. Weah and entourage attend the Inauguration of Ghanaian President elect Nana Akufo Addo

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah is currently in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, attending the inaugural ceremony of Ghanaian President-elect Nana Akufo Addo.

The ceremony is expected to take place Thursday, January 7, 2021.

President Weah arrived at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra Wednesday, January 6, 2021, where he received a full military honor.

According to ELBC Executive Mansion Reporter, President Weah is expected to be away for five days.

Our reporter said the Liberian Leader was accompanied by First Lady Clar Weah, Foreign Minister Dee-Maxwell Kemeyah, Defense Minister Daniel Ziankahn, Information Minister Ledgerhood Rennie and Transport Minister Samuel Wlue.

He further said President Weah is also expected to hold bilateral discussions with other Heads of State, on the sideline of the inauguration.

While President Weah is away, the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Nathaniel McGill, will chair the Cabinet in close consultation with the Vice President of the Republic of Liberia.
